This the earliest photograph I have of me and, although it's not as cute
as baby James, you can already see that there's
a delightful person of stunning intelligence just waiting to take the
world by storm. I wonder what happened to him! |
These four passport style photographs chart my progress through my student years. I think that there's a lesson there somewhere. |
This was taken during the summer of 1978 when I was working in the Box Office at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. It's the only photograph I have of my friend of that time, Ronnie. It was taken whilst I was, officially, heterosexual. I mean, WHO did I think I was kidding? |
This photograph was taken when I was at the tender age of 33. I kid you not! I was on holiday in Majorca with Richard in February 1988 when this was taken. I fear however that the youthful looks may have been a trick of the light rather than my being a living testament to the miracle of Oil of Ulay. |
This photograph was taken in the summer of 1995 in Sue's back garden in Walthamstow. If I'm looking a little haggard, it's not surprising as that was the summer that I was grieving after David's death. |
And now some photographs of me at work at UCL. |
This one was taken during May 1997. |
Here's one taken in September 1997 with my colleague, Nafisa, shortly before she went off on maternity leave. |
This one was taken during spring 1998. |
One of me at work in December 1998. |
And one of me at work in December 1999. |
This photograph was taken by Ross at Lee Valley Park in February 2000. |
Ross took this photograph as well shortly after I returned to Liverpool in summer 2000. |
This is me in relaxed mood in the back garden in 2008. |
