Phased return to work

Bernstein, Lindberg and Nielsen's 5th. Hoping for a cracking evening.
Fabulous concert. Well worth a shout at the end. Nielsen 5 is one of the most affecting pieces of music I know. It's as though the world disintegrates in front of you but then struggles, re-asserts and simply will not give up.
5 This will come as quite a comfort to many of us. I love this time of year with the growing realisation that there is light after work.

Mothering Sunday
Celebrating Mother's Day at a nursery with two of my besties. It was, at times, not unlike shepherding two particularly willful toddlers. However, all went well and we received a surprise early Easter present from Grace in the form of a garden clock.
6 I don't know if you've realised but a plague of biblical proportions has been visited upon us. All those storms of recents months submerged Carlisle's McVitie's factory ovens. Production of custard creams, bourbons, ginger nuts and table water biscuits was halted resulting in empty supermarket shelves. But Good News!!! The ovens have been re-fired and it won't be long before I can get my hands on some ginger nuts.
6 Recently, I bought a pair of moleskin trousers in Debenham's sale. I've always liked the velvety feel of moleskin. I like the trousers; they are comfortable to wear. However, no-one evers says "Do not buy this type of trouser if you own a fluffy long-haired cat or dog." Consequently, I have just spent the latter part of the afternoon with my Rossi rolling a lint remover over my buttocks - mind you, there are worse ways of passing the time. BTW I have often wondered who would fancy me wearing rude moleskin trousers. I now have an answer - a rude mole.
