1 Counselling in Bootle

Adrian 1 drinking cocktail at Bean Coffee & Cocktails, St Pauls Square. 1 February · Liverpool · Meeting up with Adrian who I first met 23 years ago. What a splendid way to spend nearly two hours. Much catching up was accomplished. Also I have now tasted my first Negroni - pleasantly sour but I'm not sure I'd have another one soon. Adrian's was very pleasant - a Basil something-or-other - sharp and refreshing. Basil Haven! It was most delightful catching-up! I think it's more like 25 years since we first met? "As Time Goes By" was in '91, so it may even be longer! Crikey! My round next time

9 wait That's the problem with scape-goating. It can so easily backfire and end up looking like one rule for you and another for me. So, I'd probably best not ensure that this gets the widest possible circulation.

12 So, Mr Hunt, you have suddenly woken up to the fact that morale amongst Junior Doctors is important. However, you seem to have inadvertently taken your eye off your assertion that you do not wish to privatise the NHS. Who is that on the Board of the private firm mentioned in this article? Surely, it's not anyone connected with the Conservative Party? NHS Contract Awarded To Private Firm Despite Rival Bid Being “£7 Million Cheaper” Private company Alliance Medical beat an NHS bid to win a contract to provide cancer scan services across the North West of England. Conservative MP Malcolm Rifkind sits on the board of the private bidder.

A strange relocation of the plot to some sort of Shaker community ruled by capitalist landlords in the nineteenth century robbed the narrative of motivation through Imperialist occupation and oppression and religious conflict. It was all down hill from there. Unfortunately, there were few musical positives either. No. Dull, dreary and disappointing. I would agree that people on the stage and in the pit did their darnedest with what they were asked to do. But it was commitment to a lost cause. Plus you also have to factor in political support for a chorus which is being reduced in size. Out into the dreary rain after a grim first night of Norma at ENO. The pint in the Harp is needed to revive us.

L'Etoile Fabulous entertainment. Completely madcap. A wonderful evening with friends. A pleasant meal followed by the new production if L'Etoile. A delightful romp that was great fun and we bounced out very merry and ready for a cheerful pint at the Coal Hole on the Strand. It was everything the previous night at ENO had not been. Back now in Liverpool having a glass of wine before the Philharmonic 's afternoon concert. Fabulous few days done and dusted. One more treat to come this afternoon.

Vassily Petrenko 19 Prokofiev, Ravel and Debussy La mer Philharmonic Hall. Simon Trpceski is "like an old friend" the concertgoer next to me said, fondly, as he strode on to the stage ahead of a blistering performance of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No1. A prettily-delivered Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, with a quietly radiant finale, and Debussy's La Mer - most beautifully toned and textured by the Phil under Petrenko's baton, were paired in the second half. the evening opened with the premiere of a new gussied-up version of principal horn Timothy Jackson's Six Lancashire Folksong Settings
