At last we welcome a little pussy into our lives.
Say hello everyone to Nutkin.
Nutkin previously belonged to our nextdoor neighbour, Jamie, but a change in his working patterns means that he couldn't be journeying all over the country and keep a cat. So, we got first dibs and now Nutkin is a fully paid up member of our household.
He's been named after Beatrix Potter's squirrel because of his bushy tail. It is a name which will achieve a certain poignancy after he has been castrated.
